RWBY: Grimm Eclipse Definitive Edition Gets Switch Release Date With Gameplay Trailer

Rooster Teeth announced that the Aspyr-developed hack-and-slash action game, RWBY: Grimm Eclipse Definitive Edition, will launch on Nintendo Switch on May 13.

RWBY: Grimm Eclipse is an action hack-and-slash adventure set in the RWBY universe. The game began as a fan-made title on PC but became so popular that Rooster Teeth jumped on board to add development help and brought the game to PS4 and Xbox One in 2017.

The Definitive Edition is assumed to launch with all the DLC, which includes new characters, Horde Mode, new Maps, and costumes.

RWBY: Grimm Eclipse features online multiplay where up to four players can group together to take down the waves of enemies and bosses. Each character has unique abilities and skills along with the ability to counter and unleash ultimate attacks on groups of enemies. Further, combat features a fighting game button light with a combination of light and heavy attacks.

Characters can all level up their characters and use experience points to have the character fit their playstyle. This allows a variety of different versions of the same character.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the Switch release of RWBY: Grimm Eclipse.

RWBY: Grimm Eclipse is availalbe now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
