Rune Factory: PROJECT DRAGON Announced; Features Eastern-Style Presentation
During the Marvelous Game Showcase 2023, the company announced Rune Factory: PROJECT DRAGON. It is themed around the eastern lands with a Japanese-style presentation. This is a spinoff that will be a distinct experience for fans. And as the name implies, Dragons will be integral to the narrative. The company was also evasive about whether the protagonist will face amnesia like in other titles.
Rune Factory 6 was announced alongside this game.
The general producer is Tsukuda Kenichiro, the Producer is Fujii Hisahi, and the Director is Maekawa Shiro.

Rune Factory 3 Special is now out in Japan for Nintendo Switch and will be coming westward via XSEED Games on September 5, 2023.
