About Rune Factory 5 English Gameplay Revealed in New Trailer

XSEED released English gameplay from Rune Factory 5, in development for Nintendo Switch for an Early 2022 release.

The English gameplay shown introduces some of the English voice cast for the first time. Further, the trailer goes into detail to introduce the town and the various tasked that players will be able to do during gameplay, including romance, farming, and dungeon crawling.

Rune Factory 5 takes the series to new heights as it opens the world through various means of exploration. Players are able to run through dungeons, fight monsters, and meet new characters, but from a new 3D perspective. Typically, these games are played with an over-the-top view of the town and characters, but this latest entry seems to switch it up to provide a new experience to players.

Returning to the game are relationships. Players will choose a male or female protagonist to being their jobs as a peacekeeping ranger. Aside from protecting the town, players will need to look after the crops and fish for food. Throughout the adventure, they will meet a handful of NPCs that they can possibly fall in love with and get married to in-game. The game also features a new battle system that is more action-focused and a traveling system with familiar companions.
