Rune Factory 3 Special Now Available on PC & Switch; Launch Trailer
XSEED Games and Marvelous have announced that their farming simulation action JRPG Rune Factory 3 Special is now available on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in the West. A launch trailer was shared to commemorate the occasion, highlighting the vast cast and gameplay elements that prospective players can expect.
Fans can purchase the Digital Deluxe edition comprising Swimsuit Mode DLC. Further, there are separately purchasable outfits as well as the free Another Episode DLC that adds “11 illustrated stories narrated by each of the marriage candidates, fully voiced in English and Japanese.”

Rune Factory 3 Special is an enhanced port of the original DS title, where players can explore dungeons, raise animals, grow crops, socialize, and fall in love. This entry follows Micah, a youth suffering from amnesia, who can turn into a golden sheep-like monster called a wooly. Micah must now reclaim his past as he attempts to piece together why he was traveling in the first place.
