Rune Factory 3 Special Releasing in Japan March 2023; Adds Newlywed Mode and ‘Hell’ Difficulty

In a press release shared with Famitsu, developer Marvelous shared further details regarding Rune Factory 3 Special; the HD remaster port from the original Nintendo DS game. The press release stated that the game will be releasing in Japan on March 2, 2023. Unfortunately, the Western release date still vaguely remains as 2023.

In the wave of information, it was revealed that Newlywed Mode, a feature previously included in the Rune Factory 4 Special remaster, will also be appearing in this title, which lets players view an additional tale that takes place after you’ve married a certain candidate. Furthermore, a new Hell difficulty can also be toggled. In the game’s own words, this difficulty is “for people who think Hard is too Easy.”
