Rune Factory 3 Special Announces Golden Memories Edition Package; Includes Exclusive Swimsuit DLC

The official Twitter account for Rune Factory just announced the Golden Memories special edition of Rune Factory 3 Special. Pre-orders will open through the XSEED store as well as participating retailers soon for the suggested retail price of US$79,99.

This special edition includes a physical copy of the game, a 6 in. x 4 in. (15.24 cm x 10.16 cm) acrylic standee featuring protagonists from Rune Factory 3 Special, Rune Factory 4 Special, and Rune Factory 5, an original soundtrack CD, a custom planner containing in-game seasons in addition to a real world calendar and, what’s perhaps more importantly, an exclusive “Swimsuit Mode” DLC, allowing for characters to appear in their swimsuits year-round! Honestly, what more could you ask?

Well, okay. Physical pre-orders through the XSEED Games Store will also include the option to bundle the game with a Golden Wooly keychain, modeled after Micah’s sheep form if you pay US$5 more, but I digress. This offer is while supplies last.

Rune Factory 3 Special is an HD remaster of the original Rune Factory 3 game originally released on the Nintendo DS. In this title, players play as Micah, an amnesiac protagonist who can transform into two forms. Farm, fight and fall in love as you revisit a classic in the series that perfected the blend of RPG & Life-sim genres.

Rune Factory 3 Special is now out in Japan for Nintendo Switch, and will be coming westward via XSEED Games on September 5, 2023.
