RPG Maker MV Receives Final DLC Adding New Map and Monsters

NIS America announced that RPG Maker MV has launched its final batch of DLC for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

The DLC adds a few new features for players to add to their creations including Fes Monster Set, Fes Map & BG Set, and VX Set 2 & XP Set 1.

The publisher has been actively adding new DLC to the game for those playing. It allows players to continue their creations by adding new elements and systems to their RPGs. It’s good to note that this is a game creation system and not an actual RPG, although you can play other player-made games. A Blog post details recent updates and features.

RPG Maker MV allows players to create their own RPG by providing them with the tools they need. This includes assets, customization options, and tutorials. Players will also be able to upload their games for anyone to play, even those who don’t own RPG Maker MV.

The toolset has been used for quite a few indie games, and this just makes it more accessible to those who might not have access to a computer. It’s definitely a way to begin your game-creating career as it handles all of the programming for the user.
