Rose & Camellia Collection Announced for Switch by WayForward; Features 5 Games, Vocal Songs by Cristina “Vee,” Versus Mode & More
WayForward has announced that the NIGORO-developed Rose & Camellia Collection will launch for Nintendo Switch in either late 2023 or early 2024 for Nintendo Switch. WayForward will publish the game in North America and Europe.
Rose and Camellia Collection is a remake of a 2007 flash game from developer Nigoro, Rose and Camellia. The game follows Reiko Tsubakikoji, who is trying to become the Matriach of the household. However, to do so, she must get into slap battles with other female foes.
Players can look forward to five games, more than 30 characters, and all-new English voicework, as well as high-definition visuals, an anime-style opening, and two all-new vocal songs by Cristina “Vee” Valenzuela. There will also be “a new competitive two-player local versus mode, in which one player controls one of the heroines, and the other plays as one of the villains.”
The following games will be included:
- Rose & Camellia
- Rose & Camellia 2
- Rose & Camellia 3
- Rose & Camellia 4
- Rose & Camellia vs. La-Mulana
You’ll also be able to play the game with motion-based Joy-Con controls or touch-screen swipes.
Limited Run Games will also sell a physical edition, though pre-orders and details are not yet available.
