Sekai Games announced that the nuclear survival visual novel Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- will launch digitally on the Nintendo Switch eShop it 2019.
Released on PC and then later on PlayStation Vita in 2018, Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- tell the story of a scientific research facility named LABO that was built by a lake on the outskirts of “Rokumie City. However, an incident occurs and nine individuals end up trapped in the basement. One of these trapped survivors is a high school student name Natsuhiko Tenkawa. players will journey through his memories of the six days leading up to the incident and start from his viewpoint. Also, players will see the story from the viewpoint of the squad captain who is attempting to rescue the survivors and the nine-hour escape that unfolds in front of his eyes.
Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- is a lengthy visual novel with over 50 hours of content, so much so that it wouldn’t fit on a PlayStation Vita cartridge. Although the Switch’s cartridges could hold more storage a physical release has not been announced, but Sekai Games has worked with Limited Run Games in the past who supply their titles with limited physical editions.
