Physical Vita Release for Root Double: Before Crime * After Days Xtend Edition Limited to 2000 Copies

EastAsiaSoft revealed that PlayStation Vita launch units of Root Double: Before Crime * After Days Xtend Edition will be limited to 2000 copies.

The Limited Physical release will include the game, Soundtrack, and art book. Customers who are purchasing the physical release will be limited to 2 copies. The game will go on sale on September 10.

Released on PC and then later on PlayStation Vita in 2018, Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- tell the story of a scientific research facility named LABO that was built by a lake on the outskirts of “Rokumie City. However, an incident occurs, and nine individuals end up trapped in the basement. One of these trapped survivors is a high school student name Natsuhiko Tenkawa.

Players will journey through his memories of the six days leading up to the incident and start from his viewpoint. Also, players will see the story from the perspective of the squad captain, who is attempting to rescue the survivors and the nine-hour escape that unfolds in front of his eyes.

Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- is a lengthy visual novel with over 50 hours of content, so much so that it was said that it wouldn’t fit on a PlayStation Vita cartridge. However, that’s not true seeing as we are getting the game on a physical cartridge soon.
