Root Double -Before Crime * After Days Light Novel Series to be Released in the West

Cross Infinite World announced that they have acquired the license for Tora Tsukishima’s Root Double -Before Crime * After Days, the light novel series based on the visual novel of the same name.

The western release of Root Double -Before Crime * After Days will include new scenes and more than 30 full-color images by artist Mikeou, who worked on the game. These illustrations will be spread across each volume of the novels that were originally published by Kodansha.

The plan in place by Cross Infinite World is to release Root Double √After this September and Root Double √Before to follow in early 2020.

Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- √After follows the events of a disaster that strikes an isolated research city. Captain Watase Kasasagi has been deployed with his elite rescue squad to hand an emergency where civilians are trapped in an underground nuclear reactor.

Now, the characters trapped must figure out how to survive in the meantime, but things become strange as it’s discovered that schoolgirls have somehow found their way inside and events just aren’t adding up as voices began telling the survivers what to do.

The release will be digital-only in the west a physical release was not announced at this time.

Root Double -Before Crime * After Days is also coming to Nintendo Switch in the west.
