Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe Update Adds New Story Content and Event

Square Enix announced that western players can jump into Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe now to begin playing through Episode 8: Barthelemy the Clown: Part I content.

This update adds more story to the game, however, I should note that new players are able to jump into the game and play through the previous episodes and work their way to the new content.

To sweeten the additional story content, the publisher has also launched The Divine Tower: Cordelia event where they can collect Bear Ingots to exchange for rewards.

Episode 8: Barthelemy the Clown: Part I follows Polka as he returns to Gessian fortress to find Zenon and set out to rescue Liz. However, in order to do this Polka will need to head back into the Kalmya Cave.

Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe borrows from the 16-bit era graphics as players will meet new characters to add to their party. The game released in December 2018 in Japan and has gained a large following of players after being downloaded over 15 million times.

Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe takes place 300 years after the event of Romancing SaGa 3. Players are able to assume the role of various characters from across the series as they experience the game’s updated battle system and narrative.
