Square Enix has announced that the recently announced Romancing SaGa 2 Revenge of the Seven has a Japan-exclusive collector’s edition for ¥22,000.
Besides the physical game, this edition will include a FORM-ISM figure of one of the Seven Heroes, the antagonist Rocbouquet, a two-disc soundtrack with a specially illustrated sleeve, and a reprinted guidebook of the original Romancing SaGa 2 from 1993.
Information on character classes, items, monsters, skills, magic, and formation is detailed across 128 B6-sized pages. Further, a case depicting the key art of the original Romancing SaGa 2 is provided as a Square Enix e-store bonus.

The original Romancing SaGa 2 sold over one million units worldwide, being acclaimed for its nonlinear adventure and challenge. Players will find themselves needing to defeat the Seven Heroes of the Varennes Empire, who have now sunk to the depths of vengeance.
Players take on the role of Emperor of Avalon, defending the Empire across several generations while trying to defeat the Seven Heroes.
Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven will feature Japanese and English voiceovers, an enhanced turn-based battle system, original and rearranged compositions by franchise composer Kenji Ito, and more.
Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on October 24, 2024.
