Adventure-Suspense Visual Novel ‘The Fox Awaits Me’ Released on Switch in West

Cosen has released their Adventure-Suspense visual novel The Fox Awaits Me on Nintendo Switch via the eShop in the west for $44.99.

The Fox Awaits Me introduces Kaito, a boy who has lost his memories and finds himself in a bamboo grove. If things weren’t already complicated he ends up meeting a fox girl named Shua who is crying as she refers to him as her master.

Shua ends up trying to help Kaito regain his memories and they make their way back to her residence. However, the Mountain Deity, Mim, and the Grim Reaper, Karin, interfere with their relationship, which just causes more drama. Throughout the narrative, Kaito will try to regain his memories, but it seems like everything around him is demanding of his attention.

The Fox Awaits Me features multiple choices during the dialogue that lead to several different endings. The game also has Live2D animation for the characters which shows them moving and expressing their emotions during story scenes. There are romance elements within the game that evolves throughout the narrative.

Players who import can also purchase a physical release of the game on Nintendo Switch from the online story Play-Asia.
