Publisher Serenity Forge and developer Arbitrary Metric have announced that Roman Sands RE:Build will launch on September 16, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam. The title occurs across two interconnected narratives set at the end of the world.

The first story begins at a timeless luxury retreat where the player washes ashore and encounters a group of eccentric residents awaiting the day the sun consumes the world. Forced to cater to their increasingly bizarre requests, players gradually uncover the secrets hidden beneath the resort while searching for a way to escape.

The second storyline shifts to a deteriorating zoological research facility where the outside world has become uninhabitable. Guided by a voice over the radio as life-support systems begin to fail, players must navigate the facility.
