Roguelite ‘Zengeon’ Announced for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch
PQube announced they will publish the IndieLeague Studio-developed roguelite Zengeon, will come to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch later in 2020. Currently, the game is available on PC-via Steam.
Zengeon has players go on a quest to uncover the story of the game by collecting Memory Fragments in levels that change each time you visit them. The game features random enemies, power-ups, bosses, puzzles. Additionally, there are solo and online multiplayer modes.
Zengeon introduced six-character who are students of the Celestial College. Each character plays differently, so players are able to choose which works best for them. The game’s roguelite systems mean that if you die, you lose everything except for Memory Fragments. The power-ups in the game give players the ability to summon minions and utilize elements abilities that can also be used to heal.
To give players a better idea of the game, the publisher released a new trailer. This gives players a look at the action-based combat systems and how they’ll collect items throughout the dungeons. Gameplay revolves around progressing the narrative and collecting more loot.
