Roguelike Deckbuilder ‘Wildfrost’ Announced for PC & Switch; Winter 2022 Release

During today’s Nintendo Indie showcase, publisher Chucklefish and developers Deadpan Games and Gaziter announced that their roguelike deck builder, Wildfrost, will be releasing for Nintendo Switch in Winter 2022. The title is also planned to release for PC via Steam during the same timeframe.

Taking place in the town of Snowdwell, the sun has been frozen, causing the world’s occupants to face a seemingly eternal winter. However, it’s said that reaching the Sun Temple will rid the world of this frost. Players can look forward to addictive strategical systems with card-induced companions who boast distinct powers. Further, daily runs and various challenges will be available to amp up replayability to staggering heights.
