Evil Empire has unveiled the latest roadmap for its action roguelike, The Rogue Prince of Persia, detailing additions for 2025.
Skins, elite enemies, improvements to medallions, skill trees, and awakenings, as well as the world map, will be implemented between January and March. There will also be more diverse biome layouts, improved control input, and improved loading transitions.
Then, min-bosses, more skins, medallions, skills, and awakening stones will arrive between April and June, with improved traversal and combat game feel, environmental interactions, and breakable environmental items. After that is the mysterious road to the 1.0 launch.
Lastly, the developer confirmed that The Rogue Prince of Persia would not have Denuvo on Steam, and the Ubisoft Connect service will be an option-only feature.

The Rogue Prince of Persia is planned to be in early access for around a year, with the full game aiming to add more levels, weapons, features, enemies, bosses, story acts, and meta progression. In general, the full launch is planned to have double the amount of content from early access.
This action adventure by the creators of Dead Cells is a fast-paced but accessible roguelite that demands players master acrobatic movement between platforming and combat.
New weapons will be discovered alongside upgradeable special trinkets to grant distinct builds. Further, new characters and areas will be found on a quest to save Persia from a Hun invasion. The Hun army is corrupted by dark shamanic magic.
The Rogue Prince of Persia is available on PC via Steam Early Access.
