Rogue Legacy 2 Now Available on Nintendo Switch

During today’s Nintendo Indie World Showcase, publisher and developer Cellar Door Games announced that their action rogue-like Rogue Legacy 2 is now available on Nintendo Switch via the eShop. The title is also available on Xbox One, Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Rogue Legacy was released in 2013 as a platformer roguelike where players explore a procedurally generated dungeon full of various rooms, paths, and enemies. The goal is to defeat four bosses across each themed dungeon area and then a final boss to end the adventure. However, that is a bit easier said than done as the path there isn’t so easy.

Each time a player dies, they will need to choose the heir to the knight to take on the dungeon. This system also always various skills and abilities to be inherited. However, over time they will gain access to new power-ups and weapons that will help them during a run.
