EA announced that the Blast in Paradise Event for the Final Strike Games-developed Rocket Area is live now through August 26.

During the event, players will find new challenges, rewards, maps, and game modes. The new map will introduce the Grand Harbor to players, which includes new strategic chocking points and ways to take down players. Furthermore, players will find a foggy map, Lagoon of Doom, as well as Crater’s Edge, which has a few secret areas and landmarks to discover. There are free event rewards to the found at Blastbeard’s Bounty, including daily login events.

After the event, the Grand Harbor and Lagoon of Doom maps will still be available. Also, from August 14 through August 17, players can earn double XP across all modes.

Rocket Arena is a crossplay hero arena shooter where players and teams master “the art of the rocket.” Players can choose between a variety of heroes and customize various aspects of them. The game features new blast and recovery mechanics and rocket launcher combat.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on follow up Season 1 updates and other special events that the publisher announces.

Rocket Arena is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam and Origin.
