Rock of Ages 2: Bigger & Boulder Announced for Nintendo Switch With May Release Date

Sega announced that the tower-defense racer Rock of Ages 2: Bigger & Boulder will launch digitally on Nintendo Switch eShop on May 14.

Rock of Ages 2: Bigger & Boulder is part tower-defense and part racer where players will smash down enemy gates and lead the charge of destruction against enemies to prove themselves as the true Rock God. The game supports up to 4-player multiplayer with cooperative and versus modes. Players can also customize the banner colors of their boulder to stand out.

Rock of Ages 2: Bigger & Boulder originally launched in 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC as a follow up to 2011’s Rock of Ages. The sequel has improved physics and destructible environments using Unreal Engine 4. The developer, ACE Team has also included much of their quirkiness and humor by playing off of famous historical and mythological figures. However, nothing is truly accurate in this game as seen in the art design direction of the more famous bosses such as The Thinker and Great Sphinx.

Rock of Ages 2: Bigger & Boulder will launch n Nintendo Switch on May 14 for $14.99.
