UPDATE 8/17/2022: The game’s Japanese website has been published, and it contains information on the title, alongside screenshots, character information, and more.

We’ll be sure to keep you all updated about this upcoming game’s release. A physical launch for all platforms was previously announced earlier this Summer.

River City Girls 2 will release for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

The original River City Girls tells the story of Kyoko and Misako, two high-schoolers who know a thing or two about defending themselves as they explore the six regions of River City to rescue their kidnapped boyfriends, who happen to Kunio and Riki. Players will utilize the game’s combo mechanics, including counters, throws, and special attacks as they fight their way through the streets. They’ll also be able to interact with NPCs, which includes guest stars from previous River City titles.
