The multiplayer roguelike initially launched on PC-via Steam Early Access in March, and according to a press release, the game has earned more than one million players so far. As of now, the game holds an “Overwhelming Positive” overall review rating out of over 26,000 reviews, so needless to say, players are already enjoying their time blasting away monsters. Now that the game is coming to Switch, even more folks can have the chance to enjoy all the glorious chaos.

Via the aforementioned press release, Hopoo Games shared their excitement for bringing Risk of Rain 2 to Switch: “We love the Nintendo Switch and actually dedicate an hour at the end of our days to play together as a team in the office,” said Duncan Drummond, co-founder of Hopoo Games. “We’re excited to have it come to the Nintendo Switch earlier than planned and can’t wait to tell you all more at PAX West!”

The sequel to the beloved indie hit, Risk of Rain 2 brings 3D graphics and third-person shooter mechanics to the franchise while holding true to its roguelike roots. While the Switch release is coming this summer, the PC release is slated to launch in spring 2020.
