Strategy RPG ‘Rise Eterna’ Gets Switch Release Date
Forever Entertainment announced that the Makee-developed strategy RPG Rise Eterna will launch on Nintendo Switch on May 13, 2021.
Rise Eterna borrows classic systems from series such as Langrisser and Fire Emblem and adds a few modern features, but still keeps it retro. Players can build their army from 14 characters who each learn unique skills. Throughout the game, you’ll be able to recruit new heroes, craft more powerful weapons, and discover hidden characters and challenges.
Rise Eterna follows Lua, who has a mysterious past. The publisher mentions that the story is full of dark and mature themes. Throughout the narrative, players will learn about the connection between two lost souls trying to discover the meaning of their lives, fighting side by side.
Rise Eterna is also in development for PC-via Satem, but a release date has not been confirmed. Currently, only the Switch has a firm release date.
The publisher also released a new trailer showing the game running on Switch hardware. Further, viewers can get a preview of the classic RPG systems and characters along with a look at the story elements and maps.
