Tactical RPG ‘Rise Eterna’ Gets New Gameplay Trailer

Forever Entertainment released a new gameplay trailer for the tactical RPG Rise Eterna, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam in 2019.

The gameplay trailer gives players a story overview of the events that lead to these characters joining together and fighting for their lives. Players will be able to customize their parties and craft powerful items as they level up and go head to head against their nemesis.

Rise Eterna features 14 characters who can each learn unique skills as they level up. Players can develop their characters further by using gems and crafting items using ingredients looted during battles. The game’s story follows protagonists’ Lua and Natheal and highlights key moments and battles in their lives. Additionally, players will discover hidden content that includes challenging encounters that yield large rewards.

Gameplay in Rise Eterna is influenced by games like Tactics Ogre and Final Fantasy Tactics, but there are some unique systems to be found in this title. The developers aim to add a modern twist to this formula and it shows in the game’s new trailer.

Currently, Rise Eterna does not have a release date, but the trailer shows that the game will release physically on Switch.
