Twin-Stick Indie Shooter ‘Riddled Corpses EX’ Gets Switch Release Date

Cowcat Games announced that the Diabolical Mind developed their twin-stick shooter Riddled Corpses EX will release on Nintendo Switch on March 2.

Riddled Corpses EX is a twin-stick shooter created with a retro pixel character and level design. Players will have the ability to play through the game alone or with a friend as they shoot their way through hordes of enemies and battle against large bosses. Each character in the game has a unique ability and can use a special item to give them the upper hand during gameplay.

Riddled Corpses EX features 60 FPS and 2 player local co-op modes. There’s also the choice for players to play through arcade, Story, or survival mode. Additionally, the game also supports online leaderboards.

Currently, the game is available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita with cross-buy between both versions enabled.

The publisher also released a new trailer showing the game running on Nintendo Switch and giving players a preview of the game.

Riddled Corpses EX will launch on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

Author’s take: These games have some great design and the indie approach holds a lot of its charm. After spending some time with the Vita version, I’m excited to play on the Switch and see how it holds up.
