New Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles Trailer Spotlights Vocal Songs; Let’s Scream for Ice-Cream Together
NIS America has shared a new trailer for their upcoming double-JRPG package, Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles, highlighting some of the vocal tracks players can look forward to hearing in full.
Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles is a collection of two Nippon Ichi Software games never before released in the West. It includes the PS1 game Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess and the PS2 game Rhapsody III: Memories of Marl Kingdom, the sequels to Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure. The three games constitute the Marl Kingdom series, one of the most important pieces of NIS history.
Rhapsody II takes place a few years after the first game and follows the story of Kururu, the young daughter of Cornet and Prince Ferdinand. Just like her mother, she’s a little rascal, so she decides to get out of the castle as she’s determined to go on a journey to find her own prince. This time around, battles take place in a turn-based format with no grid.
Meanwhile, Rhapsody III is an ensemble piece that complements the stories of both games, providing additional stories to the characters in six chapters.
