With the announcement, you have some character details provided for Melty Pristis, voiced by Sora Amamiya, who is a nun of the Transcendent Dragon Church. Other characters revealed are Melty’s Knight, voiced by Toshiyuki Toyonaga, Melty’s Civil Official, voiced by Aya Hirano, Retecent Bodyguard, voiced by Shunsuke Takeuchi, Puck’s Admirer, voiced by Kaede Hondo, Mysterious Assassin Targeting the Royal Candidates, voiced by Hiroki Takahashi.

Re:ZERO: The Prophecy of the Throne features tactical adventure elements where players can utilize the main protagonist Subaru’s Return by Death ability. Players will progress through the story through visual novel systems and dialogue, which are supplemented with character animations and fully voiced dialogue.

Players can also move around and talk to characters as they assume the role of Subaru and interact with the environment to obtain key items. As missions are accepted, players will create plans on how to get through them based on items and information that they have. Missions require players to resolve conflicts through strategic battles.

The Prophecy of the Throne takes place one month after Subaru began his new life in another world. An emissary sent by the royal castle has appeared with the news that the royal selection has been postponed, but strangely, there’s no reason why. The postponed of the grand event is the one that decides the next ruler of the Kingdom of Lugunica, which force Subaru and his friends into action.

When they arrive at the royal capital they find that a sixth candidate has claimed the stake for the throne. However, there can only be five, meaning one person is an imposter, and suspensions are cast toward Emilia.
