Re:ZERO: The Prophecy of the Throne Gets First Western Overview Trailer
Spike Chunsoft released the first trailer for the Mages-developed visual novel RPG Re:ZERO – Starting Life in Another World: The Prophecy of the Throne in the west on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC later this winter.
The trailer highlights the story and characters as well as gives players a quick look at some of its gameplay elements. The trailer is relatively short, but it sets the mode for a mysterious adventure that awaits fans.
The Prophecy of the Throne takes place one month after Subaru began his new life in another world. An emissary sent by the royal castle has appeared with the news that the royal selection has been postponed, but strangely, there’s no reason why. The postponed of the grand event is the one that decides the next ruler of the Kingdom of Lugunica, which force Subaru and his friends into action.
When they arrive at the royal capital they find that a sixth candidate has claimed the stake for the throne. However, there can only be five, meaning one person is an imposter, and suspensions are cast toward Emilia.
The Prophecy of the Throne’s story is supervised by series author Tappei Nagatsuki and features brand new character designs from original artist Shinichirou Otsuka.
