Rewrite+ Receives New Extensive Patch Remedying Numerous Translation & System Errors

Publisher Sekai Project released a new patch for the Key developed visual novel, Rewrite+, two days ago on January 27, 2022. This extensive patch fixes several text, image, setting, and configuration errors that have plagued the title since launch. Most notably, bits of untranslated text were remedied, and more font sizes are now selectable.

View the game’s official Steam news page for a complete list of the number of specific issues this patch has addressed. Regardless of the problems present in this game, it’s always neat to see support for post-launch optimization.

Rewrite+ was successfully crowdfunded last year to bring the title west. The campaign was created to bring Rewrite+ and Rewrite Harvest Festa! to western fans and pay the high cost of voice audio licensing fees.

Rewrite+ and Rewrite Harvest Festa! is set in Kazamatsuri, where Tennoji Kotarou spends his day with his close group of friends. Once a year, an event shakes the foundations of this small town. Known as the harvest festival, Kotarous collects information about creatures and the occult. Strange things happen all around him, and Kotarou does what he can to find the “truth” that no one else has discovered.
