Devolver Digital announced that the My Phobia Studio reverse horror adventure Carrion will launch on Nintendo Switch alongside the already announced Xbox One and PC-via Steam release in 2020.
The Switch release will also have a physical release from Special Reserve Games, which will be available the day it launches. More news about the game will be revealed during the 2020 Developer Digital Showcase.
In Carrion, players assume the role of the aforementioned creatures. Players will need to stalk and consume those humans who imprisoned you as they slide around the environments and instill terror and fear into everything around them. As the game progresses, the creature will become larger and gain various new abilities that they can use to their advantage. True there are things out there that can hurt this creature, but you are definitely the stronger entity here.
Carrion was first revealed at E3 2019 and has since caught the attention of indie fans. The list of console versions available is growing, but as we near Holiday 2020, it’s up in the air whether we’ll see a next-generation release of this horror adventure game. Still, we are eager to just get our hands on it.
