Emotional SRPG ‘Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery’ Announced for Switch, PC and Mobile Devices in the West
X.D. Network announced that the Sunborn Games developed Tactical RPG Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery will release in the west on Nintendo Switch, PC-via Steam, and mobile devices.
Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery is a completely rebuilt and improved version of Code Name: Bakery Girl, which shares the same universe as the Girls’ Frontline series.
Code Name: Bakery Girl was originally released in 2013 where players had the chance to explore some fairly deep tactical RPG gameplay as well as a deep storyline. Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery has been completely rebuilt with improved graphics, voice-over, new stages, and a reworked story. For those who don’t know, the events that take place in Girls’ Frontline happen before the events of Code Name: Bakery Girl, in terms of the series timeline.
Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery tells the story of a girl named Jefuty, who is struggling to survive through the war and is being pursued by powerful enemies. The game is set in the near future, where Earth is the battleground for the Second Cold War as two nations, Antarctic Union and the UURSG, fight over technology to gain the upper hand.
Additionally, the publisher revealed a new gameplay trailer which revealed characters, as well as the tactical battle system, featured in the game.
