SRPG ‘Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery’ Shows Off New Boss Fight Gameplay
X.D. Network released new gameplay for the Sunborn Games-developed Tactical RPG Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery coming to Nintendo Switch, PC-via Steam, and mobile devices.
The trailer highlights updated gameplay from the previous footage we saw. This time the characters are represented in new 2D models, with dynamic battleground, and updated motion graphics. Further, the gameplay highlights a boss encounter.
Code Name: Bakery Girl was originally released in 2013 where players had the chance to explore some fairly deep tactical RPG gameplay as well as a deep storyline. Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery has been completely rebuilt with improved graphics, voice-over, new stages, and a reworked story. For those who don’t know, the events that take place in Girls’ Frontline happen before the events of Code Name: Bakery Girl, in terms of the series timeline.
Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery tells the story of a girl named Jefuty, who is struggling to survive through the war and is being pursued by powerful enemies. The game is set in the near future, where Earth is the battleground for the Second Cold War as two nations, Antarctic Union and the UURSG, fight over technology to gain the upper hand.
Players will control Mendo and Jefuty who have a tough road ahead of them, overwhelming URNC soldiers, and an unknown force pulling the strings behind the scenes. Their mission revolves around finding allies and uncovering a massive conspiracy surrounding the code name “Bakery.”
