BluePoch Games released a new trailer for their time-traveling RPG Reverse: 1999, coming to PC and iOS and Android devices on October 26, 2023.

The trailer introduces one of the main protagonists, Sonetto. Sonetto is the chief assistant to Vertin. She’s a top-performing, curious student trained at the Foundation who embarks with Vertin on her mission to the outside world.

Additionally, Vertin and Sonetto are both receiving a Nendoroid figure, with Apex-Toys announcing a figure for Sonetto.

In Reverse: 1999, players step into an alternate history where the world experienced a phenomenon called the “Storm” on the eve of 1999. Controlling Vertin, the Timekeeper, with the aid of Sonetto, an arcanist ally, you’ll navigate various eras after each “Storm” to unearth the mysteries surrounding this phenomenon. Your mission includes rescuing arcanists from different time periods who are threatened by the “Storm.”

The game boasts a visually stunning fusion of retro and modern aesthetics, blending elements of Pop Art and classical oil painting. It introduces players to enigmatic arcanists and offers full English voice acting with authentic accents, immersing players in past ages. Animations and Live 2D elements enrich the story, and players will embark on a cinematic journey across the 20th century, from the Roaring ’20s to the turn of the millennium.

To win, players assemble teams, cast spells, and employ captivating arcane skills in battles against formidable foes. Reverse: 1999 presents an RPG adventure through time, inviting players to uncover the secrets behind the “Storm” and the mysteries of 1999.
