Developer Digital Sun has announced a new project titled ReVamp, a roguelite tower defense game in development for PC via Steam, though no release date has been stated.
ReVamp features Dracula as he defends his castle against waves of invading mortals. Rather than controlling the battle from afar, players move through the fortress themselves while commanding an army of monsters and activating abilities during combat.
Primarily, the loop revolves around building and reshaping Dracula’s castle between attacks. Players can expand the fortress room by room, placing chambers. Fallen enemies leave behind blood resources that can be spent to upgrade rooms, strengthen defenses, and unlock new units.
During battles, players can also directly intervene by controlling Dracula and using special abilities to turn the tide when defenses begin to falter. The roguelite structure means each siege unfolds differently, with shifting enemy formations and elite foes appearing over time.
Even when the castle falls, progress carries forward. Blood gathered during failed runs can be invested into permanent upgrades that unlock new rooms and stronger monsters.
