Jet Set Radio Director’s RTS ‘Revolve8’ Launches in the West With In-Game Rewards
Sega has launched the Masayoshi Kikuchi directed real-time-strategy game Revolve8 for iOS and Android devices globally.
Revolve8 has players use Heroes, Minions, Buildings, and Magic represented by cards to plan out a battle against the opposing player. During gameplay, players will use cards to launch attacks with their units. Each card has their own strength and weakness, allowing players to create 3 different types of decks, Assault, Siege, or Counter. Each match will have a 3-minute time limit, where players must destroy the enemies towers.
From the director of Jet Set Radio and producer of Yakuza Masayoshi Kikuchi, Revolve8 takes players to a world based in Imago, which is created from folklore and fairy tales. In this world, a war will break out every century and give a group of heroes the chance to gain fame.
Additionally, Koji Igarashi, who is known for Castlevania: Symphony of the night and is currently working on Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, is the character designer.
