Resident Evil 4 Remake features much of the tense horror-action players remember from the game with a “state-of-the-art quality” suitable for 2023. Further, it offers a fresh new feeling with additional story elements. This is a “reimagining” of the original game’s storyline while keeping the essence of the direction with modernized graphics and updated controls.

Resident Evil Village is set a few years after the events of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. We are reintroduced to Ethan and Mia, who have moved to a new location and are relatively happy. However, right when they thought things were going well, tragedy befalls them. Players then assume the role of a distraught Etan who seeks to uncover the truth of the mysteries affecting a once-peaceful village.
