Resident Evil Village & Winters’ Expansion Launching for iPhone + iPad October 2023 for $60 USD Total; Resident Evil 4 Remake Apple Port Confirms Separate Ways
During Tokyo Game Show 2023, Capcom announced that Resident Evil Village and its accompanying Winters’ Expansion will launch for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPad with the M1 chip or later on October 30, 2023. These titles are currently available on Mac.
Additionally, the Resident Evil 4 Remake, which was previously confirmed for iPhone, iPad, and Mac for an unknown time later this year, will have its Separate Ways DLC.
Both Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 Remake will be freely downloadable, with an in-app purchase requiring users to experience the full games. Additionally, those who purchase Resident Evil Village alongside the Winters’ Expansion during their launch window will receive the Street Wolf outfit for Rosemary Winters for her Shadows of Rose campaign. The specific timing of this launch window will be clarified at a later date.
Resident Evil Village will launch for the aforementioned devices for $39.99, with the Winters’ Expansion costing an additional $19.99.

Resident Evil 4 Remake features much of the tense horror-action players remember from the game with a “state-of-the-art quality” suitable for 2023. Further, it offers a fresh new feeling with additional story elements. This is a “reimagining” of the original game’s storyline while keeping the essence of the direction with modernized graphics and updated controls.

Resident Evil Village is set a few years after the events of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. We are reintroduced to Ethan and Mia, who have moved to a new location and are relatively happy. However, right when they thought things were going well, tragedy befalls them. Players then assume the role of a distraught Etan who seeks to uncover the truth of the mysteries affecting a once-peaceful village.
