Resident Evil Village is Still Full of Surprises in New Gameplay
During a special video presentation, Capcom released a new trailer for Resident Evil Village coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on May 7, 2021.
The trailer highlights new gameplay that shows off new environments and a connection to the Umbrella corporation by revealing a log of the company. Viewers also get to see some exceptionally quick monsters that players will encounter as Ethan is meant to be someone special as he makes his way further into this hellish new world. Further, we also get a glimpse of werewolf beasts and Chris Redfield.
The spoilers seem to be that Chris is the one who shot Mia.
Resident Evil Village is set a few years after the events of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. We are reintroduced to Ethan and Mia who have moved to a new location and are relatively happy. However, right when they thought things were going well, tragedy befalls them. Players then assume the role of a distraught Etan who seeks to uncover the truth of the mysteries that are affecting a once peaceful village.
The game borrows the first-person gameplay perspective from Resident Evil 7 Biohazard as players explore a new town and uncover its secrets.
