Resident Evil Village Gameplay Shown in New Trailer, and It’s Cool as Hell
During a special video presentation, Capcom released a new trailer for Resident Evil Village will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on May 7, 2021.
In the trailer, we get a chance to see more of the terrifying gameplay, but one thing is for sure, it’s cool as hell. There’s an interesting character named the Duke, who takes the place of the Merchant. The director of the game wanted to give him a unique look, and we think he accomplished that.
Players can interact with the environment during the game to find items, which may lead them to find some of the extra items. There are puzzles and other horror elements shown as well. Players are able to take down enemies, but this time they’ll be able to guard against enemies. Weapons can be crafted and organized as well.
Resident Evil Village is set a few years after the events of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. We are reintroduced to Ethan and Mia who have moved to a new location and are relatively happy. However, right when they thought things were going well, tragedy befalls them. Players then assume the role of a distraught Etan who seeks to uncover the truth of the mysteries that are affecting a once peaceful village.
The game borrows the first-person gameplay perspective from Resident Evil 7 Biohazard as players explore a new town and uncover its secrets.
