Resident Evil Resistance Reveals Two New Villains and New Maps

Capcom released new information for their 4 versus 1 survival horror Resident Evil Resistance, which comes packed in with Resident Evil 3.

Resident Evil villains, Alex Wesker and Ozwell Spencer will each appear in the game to bring a set of special abilities to stop the Survivors from trying to escape. These characters join the group of Umbrella’s Masterminds with the already announced Daniel Fabron and Annette Birkin.

Alex Wesker appeared in Resident Evil Revelations 2 as she attempts to put her victim through psychological horrors and experiments. Alex utilizes traps and manipulating the map to roadblock the survivors and force them to deal with the zombie threat.

Ozwell, on the other hand, doesn’t really take a hands-on approach to kill his victims. Instead, he uses technology and bioweapons to stop the survivors.

Additionally, the developer revealed two new stages, Casino and Abandoned Park.

Resident Evil Resistance’s gameplay will allow one of the five players to access a network of security cameras around the map, which allows them to stay one step ahead of the others and prevent them from escaping.

This player will be able to use a deck of cards that can be used to create obstacles for the others, such as summoning vicious creatures, setting traps, manipulating the environment, and weaponizing security cameras. Additionally, the player is able to control the zombies who are attacking. Most importantly, is that this player will be able to assume the role of the Tyrant and bring hell to any survivors.
