Capcom has announced that Resident Evil Requiem has sold over six million units worldwide, making it the fastest-selling title in the series to reach this milestone.
Five million units were confirmed to have been sold soon after launch.
The team previously confirmed that a photo mode, minigame, and story expansion are in the works.
Resident Evil Requiem takes place in the iconic Raccoon City, home to the biological disaster, and merges psychological horror with action that fans of the franchise’s recent entries can anticipate. The protagonist is Grace Ashcroft, an FBI technical analyst. Her mother, Alyssa, was in Resident Evil Outbreak.
The title will feature voiceovers and subtitles in English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Castilian Spanish, Russian, and Mandarin, plus subtitles in Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Arabic, and Polish.
All pre-orders include the Apocalypse costume for Grace. Alongside the standard release, a Deluxe Edition will pack five bonus costumes, four weapon skins, two screen filters, two weapon charms, and more.
Resident Evil Requiem is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
