Resident Evil Franchise Sells 150 Million Units Worldwide; Updated Capcom Sales Figures for Street Fighter & Mega Man

Capcom released its financial results report in the second quarter of Fiscal Year 2023, detailing the company’s growth with net sales and developments with operating income.

The ninth page of the document provides updated sales figures for several notable titles. Most significantly, Street Fighter 6 has sold 2.74 million units, Resident Evil 4 Remake has sold 5.45 million units, and Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection has sold 1.42 million units. The lattermost sales figure includes both Battle Network collections.

These updates put the Resident Evil franchise at 150 million sold units and the Street Fighter franchise at 52 million units. The Monster Hunter series is only five million sales away from achieving 100 million sold units.

In other news, the recently launched Monster Hunter Now has achieved over ten million downloads since its launch on September 14, 2023.
