Resident Evil 4 Remake Reveals Third Trailer
During the February 2023 Sony State of Play, Capcom shared a new trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake. The story is emphasized this time, though a few gameplay snippets are shown. Additionally, a demo will arrive soon, and “The Mercenaries” mode will return as free DLC after release.
A free VR mode for the game is in development.
Resident Evil 4 Remake will feature much of the tense horror-action players remember from the game with a “state-of-the-art quality” suitable for 2023. However, the team is focused on preserving the essence of the original game and plans to provide a familiar experience that fans of the series remember.
Still, they want to offer a fresh new feeling with additional story elements. This is a “reimagining” of the original game’s storyline while keeping the essence of the direction with modernized graphics and updated controls.
