Resident Evil 4 Remake Shares Second Anime-Style Promotional Video

Capcom has recently uploaded the second episode of a Resident Evil 4 Remake anime promotional video series titled Resident Evil Masterpiece Theater.

This second episode of “Leon and the Mysterious Village” focuses on Leon finally finding Ashley, though things go off the rails pretty quickly with her constant kidnappings. Leon also becomes heavily injured in the process, resulting in some rather bizarre scenarios.

Resident Evil 4 Remake features much of the tense horror-action players remember from the game with a “state-of-the-art quality” suitable for 2023. However, the team is focused on preserving the essence of the original game and plans to provide a familiar experience that fans of the series remember.

Further, they want to offer a fresh new feeling with additional story elements. This is a “reimagining” of the original game’s storyline while keeping the essence of the direction with modernized graphics and updated controls.

Resident Evil 4 Remake will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S on March 24, 2023. Additionally, a free demo, the Chainsaw Demo, is available, giving prospective players a taste of the game’s early hours.
