Resident Evil 4 Remake Now Available Worldwide, Launch Trailer; The Mercenaries Free DLC Releasing April 2023

Capcom has announced that their highly-anticipated survival horror action-adventure, Resident Evil 4 Remake, is now available worldwide on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.

To commemorate this occasion, the game’s official launch trailer was shared, teasing several gameplay and story scenarios. Additionally, the end of the video confirms that The Mercenaries DLC will freely launch for all platforms on April 7, 2023.

Resident Evil 4 Remake features much of the tense horror-action players remember from the game with a “state-of-the-art quality” suitable for 2023. However, the team is focused on preserving the essence of the original game and plans to provide a familiar experience that fans of the series remember.

Further, they want to offer a fresh new feeling with additional story elements. This is a “reimagining” of the original game’s storyline while keeping the essence of the direction with modernized graphics and updated controls.
