Capcom officially revealed they are working on a reimagining of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, now titled Resident Evil 3, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam on April 3, 2020.
Resident Evil 3 is set during the outbreak of the T-virus, which has leaked from the Umbrella Corporation and infecting Racoon City. What comes of this is a hybrid zombie killer dubbed Nemesis who searches for S.T.A.R.S. members to kill them. Jill Valentine finds herself in the middle of all this as she looks for a way out of the city while uncovering some interesting mysteries about Umbrella and the virus.
During gameplay, players will have to solve puzzles and choose when to get into combat as they conserve ammo for what lies ahead. At any given time, Nemesis will appear to stop the player in the tracks, to which he’ll need to be outsmarted since bullets don’t seem to do much damage to him
Resident Evil 3 will use the RE Engine, which has been previously used in Resident Evil 7 biohazard, Resident Evil 2, and Devil May Cry 5. The engine allows the developers to update the world with high-definition graphics and modernized gameplay mechanics.
