Resident Evil 3 Remake Demo Launching Later This Week With Resistance Open Beta Revealed for Later in the Month
Capcom revealed plans to launch a demo for Resident Evil 3 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam on March 19.
Title the Resident Evil 3: Raccoon City Demo, players will assume the role of Jill Valentine as she meets Carlos Oliverira and the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service (U.B.C.S.) to evacuate civilians from Raccoon City after a zombie outbreak. Jill must focus on saving civilians, but she ends up having to save herself as a largre creature known as Nemesis stalks her.
The demo will also include a new cinematic trailer exclusive to the experiance for those you complete the quest. Players can begin playing on March 18 at 9 pm PT on Xbox One and March 19 at 10 am PT on PS4 and Steam.
The demo will also include a scavenger hunt for an item known as Mr. Charlie. There are 20 statues hidden within the demo, and players will have to find them while being hunted by Nemesis.
Additionally, on March 27, the publisher will launch Resident Evil Resistance’ Open Beta. Players will be able to control the mastermind Daniel Fabron as they torture four other players who play the survivors. Each civilian player does have an extra skill that could help them escape the experiment before time runs out. The Resident Evil Resistance open beta starts March 27 at 12 am PT for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and 10 am PT for Steam.
Resident Evil 3 is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam on April 3, 2020.
