Resident Evil 3 Shows How Haunting Nemesis Can be in New Trailer

Capcom released a new trailer for Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, now titled Resident Evil 3, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam on April 3, 2020.

The trailer highlights the antagonist of the horror adventure, Nemesis, who stalks the player through the streets of Raccoon. Each encounter with the creatures is an endurance fight for survival as he puts your skills to the test. Additionally, as Jill Valentine, players will meet other characters who assist Jill, but they may have their own motives for doing so.

Players will notice similarities between Tyrant and Nemesis, but the developer has shared that Nemesis is far more brutal. The intelligence of Nemesis is higher as he roams the streets, punching people and can use weapons. The healing capabilities will also prove to be a little challenging to manage, as well.

The trailer is mostly cinematics, but it definitely sets the ton of this adventure. Players should expect more explosion and a bigger map as they find themselves branching out of the Raccoon City Police department and into the city around them. Also shown in the trailer is that players will assume the role of supporting character Carlos during gameplay.

Resident Evil 3 is set during the outbreak of the T-virus, which has leaked from the Umbrella Corporation and infecting Racoon City. What comes of this is a hybrid zombie killer dubbed Nemesis who searches for S.T.A.R.S. members to kill them. Jill Valentine finds herself in the middle of all this as she looks for a way out of the city while uncovering some intriguing mysteries about Umbrella and the virus.
