Resident Evil 2 Remake Sells Over 10 Million Units Worldwide

Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 2 Remake has sold over 10 million units worldwide since its initial release on January 25, 2019. The title is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

The official Capcom Japan website flexes that the company’s efforts with promotions, other remakes, and the live-action series on Netflix have evolved and propelled the brand to greater heights.

This game recently received a significant graphical update on consoles and PC.

Resident Evil 7’s direct sequel, Resident Evil Village, was released last year.

Resident Evil Village is set a few years after the events of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. We are reintroduced to Ethan and Mia, who have moved to a new location and are relatively happy. However, right when they thought things were going well, tragedy befalls them. Players then assume the role of a distraught Etan who seeks to uncover the truth of the mysteries affecting a once peaceful village.

Resident Evil Village is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
