Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition Includes Original Claire Redfield Design ‘Elza Walker’ Costume
Capcom revealed a closer look at the deluxe edition of their zombie survival horror remake Resident Evil 2, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25, 2019.
The deluxe edition will include three additional costumes for Claire Redfield, Elza Walker, Military, and Noir, and Lean Kennedy Noir and Arkley Sheriff. These costumes can be worn during gameplay.
For those who don’t know, Elza Walker is the original character who turned into Claire Redfield during the development of Resident Evil 2. Elza wore a biker uniform and was planning on attending Raccoon University.
The additional items in the deluxe edition include Albert Model Samurai Edge gun and the option to switch the game to its retro soundtrack.
The game also received new screenshots showing Claire Redfield getting attacked by zombies and exploring the environment. This also shows the memorable scenes such as when the lickers show up in the game’s story. You can also check out a closer look of the Noir costume.
In case you missed it, you can check out the game’s limited edition beauty shots with a statue of Leon Kennedy.

Author’s take: Resident Evil 2 is raising the bar for remastered games and is proving itself as one of the best. The graphical steps that the team at Capcom have taken through hard work with this game are definitely showing in the visuals. We’ll see what the team has changed or if the classic gameplay is something that fans demand, but don’t necessarily want.
